Pete’s Journal - Privacy Policy
iOS
Pete’s Journal on iOS uses the iOS Calendar database to use the journal events. The user decides if the calendars in this database are shared using iCloud settings; Pete’s Journal does not read nor alter these settings.
Further, Pete’s Journal does not share the data with any third party nor is any third party software used in the collection of the data nor in its storage. All software kits come from Apple.
Data is retained in the Calendar database for as long as the user desires or until the Calendar is removed; even if Pete’s Journal is erased from the device. The user may choose to delete any or all records at any time at their discretion. No copies of the data are ever made for any purpose with the exception of backups performed by iOS to the user’s desired backup service.
Android
Pete’s Journal on Android uses a local database to use the journal events. The contents of this database are stored only on this device unless the user has made provisions to use a backup service as part of their general device backup; Pete’s Journal does not provide any backup nor does it have access to any backup.
Further, Pete’s Journal does not share the data with any third party nor is any third party software used in the collection of the data nor in its storage. All software kits come from Google.
Data is retained in the local database for as long as the user desires or until the App is removed from the device. The user may choose to delete any or all records at any time at their discretion.
